Meet John
AAC Instructor
Howdy, I'm John. I've been climbing off and on since 2000. In 2017 some climber friends recruited me to help with a rappelling clinic and I've been instructing ever since. Our climbing community has a desire for knowledge and I want to help folks learn more of what they'd like to know.
I've maintained an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor certification since 2018 and a Wilderness First Responder certification since 2021. In the summer I like to go to Moore's and Ship to escape the heat; in the winter I like to go to Stone and put up run out slab routes. I prefer easy & moderate trad multipitch and my favorite place to climb is Red Rock Canyon in NV.
