Camp Policies

Our goal is to provide every camper with a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where they can build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy an unforgettable time at camp. The following policies help us create the best experience possible for all campers and families.

Camp Registration

Late Registration

If space is available, campers may join after the start of the week.

Camp tuition is prorated in 1/5 increments based on the number of camp days remaining that week.

Example: If a camper begins on Tuesday, the registration fee will be 4/5 of the weekly camp rate to cover Tuesday through Friday.

Payment is due on the camper's first day of attendance.

Camp Eligibility

To participate in Summer Camp, campers must:

• Be fully potty trained.

• Meet the published age requirements (unless approved by management).

• Have a completed waiver and emergency contact information on file before attending.

Health & Illness

To help keep all campers healthy, please keep your child home if they are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.

If a camper develops symptoms during camp—including fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other signs of illness—we will contact a parent or guardian for prompt pickup.

Campers may return once they meet our illness guidelines.

Camper Conduct & Safety

The Boulder Garden is committed to creating a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment for every camper.

We ask all campers to:

• Follow staff instructions.

• Treat fellow campers, staff, and equipment with kindness and respect.

• Practice safe behavior while climbing and participating in activities.

• Help create a positive experience for everyone.

Most behavioral concerns are resolved through coaching and redirection. However, behaviors that compromise the safety of campers or staff may require immediate parent involvement.

Examples include:

• Physical aggression toward another camper or staff member.

• Bullying, harassment, or threatening behavior.

• Repeated refusal to follow safety instructions.

• Intentionally damaging gym property.

• Leaving the group without permission.

• Any behavior that creates a significant safety concern.

If a camper's behavior poses a safety risk:

• Parents or guardians will be contacted immediately.

• The camper may be sent home for the remainder of the day.

• Management will work with the family to determine whether the camper can safely return.

If a camper cannot safely participate in camp, The Boulder Garden reserves the right to discontinue their participation. In these cases, refunds or account credits will not be issued.

Our staff is committed to working with families whenever possible, but the safety and well-being of all campers and staff will always remain our highest priority.

Late Pick-Up

Please plan to pick up your camper at the scheduled dismissal time.

If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible.

Repeated late pickups may result in additional fees or affect future camp participation.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change.

Cancellations

Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Eligible cancellations will receive 100% of the registration fee as Boulder Garden account credit, which may be used toward future camps, programs, memberships, retail purchases, or other eligible Boulder Garden services.

If a promotional voucher was used during registration, it will also be returned to your account.

Late Cancellations

Reservations canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund or account credit, except in extenuating circumstances approved by management.

No-Shows

Campers who do not attend without canceling in advance are not eligible for a refund or account credit.

Policy Violations

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, The Boulder Garden reserves the right to remove participants from camp for serious or repeated violations of our policies.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Unsafe or aggressive behavior.

• Harassment or discrimination.

• Intentional damage to property.

• Repeated disregard for staff instructions.

• Conduct that significantly disrupts the camp experience.

If a camper is dismissed from camp due to a policy violation, registration fees, account credits, vouchers, and transfers will not be refunded.

When challenges arise, we will work collaboratively with parents whenever possible while always prioritizing the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all campers.
