Gigi (they/them) and Ann (she/hers) met at a Queer Climbing Night and bonded over the importance of making climbing more accessible and inclusive for queer community. Ever since, they have been co-leading Queer Climbing Nights together. 

Ann loves to go on lots of walks around Durham with her partner and their dog, Osita. She currently works to help center community voices in clinical research at Duke.

Gigi is a GIS professional who loves the outdoors. When they’re not working on a computer they can be found backpacking, hiking, playing sport, or doing physical labour like gardening and carpentry. If they’re not doing that they’re probably in the kitchen. They’ve been climbing consistently for a few years and look forward to continuing to help make queer nights happen.
